Your next role with WB Power Services Limited will see you taking on the role of Transport Administrator working in our extremely busy and fast paced office. This role, whilst challenging, should not be new to you as we ask for a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role. You will report into the Transport Manager and your role will include but not limited to:

  • Working within all Company Health & Safety and quality guidelines
  • Efficiently and effectively planning routes for all drivers
  • Understanding the rules and requirements for driver hours and abiding by those
  • Knowledge of weights and ensuring we are compliant when planning routes
  • Allocation of jobs to drivers using our own planning system
  • Ensuring goods are delivered or collected from the customer safely and on time
  • Striving for the highest levels of service at all times
  • Answering phone and query resolution
  • Administration for the drivers such as delivery notes, goods received ensuring the right department gets what they need
  • Ensuring all Company drivers are adhering to tachograph rules, vehicle checks and any other legislative requirements
  • Monitoring fuel usage and analysing reports, feeding back to Transport Manager on performance and suggested improvements
  • Maintenance and monitoring of fuel cards
  • Closing down transport jobs ensuring any work needed to be carried out is booked in
  • Collation of all timesheets and submitting for authorisation

As a person you will be highly organised, have meticulous attention to detail, be computer literate and able to work as part of a team whilst using own initiative to meet objectives and KPIs
You will be able to prioritise your own and others workload, escalating where necessary to ensure efficient delivery of your own and your departments targets and enjoy working as part of a team.
