Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Technical Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing quotations, processing orders, and ensuring seamless communication with clients and internal teams. This role demands a proactive approach to customer service, technical expertise, and strict adherence to WBPS procedures and standards.

WB Power Services is a leading generator specialist that provides solutions, maintenance, sales and hires to customers across the UK. The Role

  • Deal with day-to-day technical queries from clients.
  • Liaise with clients to make sure they have understood offers and follow-up quotes.
  • Arrange and attend handover meetings for Complex successful quotations.
  • Keep Salesforce and Protean updated at all stages of quotations and order process.
  • Provide technical expertise to all colleagues who may be preparing quotations.
  • Ensure all timelines are effective and all criteria are met with any anomalies to be controlled.
  • Producing detailed quotations to customers, ensuring all relevant details are gained.
  • Working to all WB Power Services Ltd ISO9001/14001/ISO 45001 policies and procedures.
  • Attend both supplier and internal training.
  • Maximise every upsell/cross-sell opportunity.

The Person

  • Technical expertise in power solutions and the ability to convey this effectively.
  • Experience working with generators is desirable.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of ISO standards.
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce or a similar software system.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Be able to understand and complete risk assessments.
  • Hold a Full UK driving licence.
