This is a superb opportunity for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join the business through this rapid period of growth. The business is looking for a driven and motivated Purchasing Officer to support the team through these exciting times

The Role

  • Be an ambassador for the new Procurement function
  • Process daily all Job Stock requisitions as submitted by the various Sales functions
  • Provide Purchasing with visibility which materials require to be purchased
  • Coordinate New Parts Introduction process
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive high performance of the entire Supply Chain
  • Manage any automated material replenishment reports
  • Perform data analysis and/or collect data as required by line manager
  • Communicate with Suppliers to gather data
  • Manage priorities and expectations based on business demands and Team leader instruction

The Person

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar position
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office
  • Procurement or Supply/Chain related qualification such as CIPS would be advantageous
  • Experience in a Procurement or Supply/Chain role is essential
  • Experience with any major ERP system is desirable
  • Basic analytical skills
