Service Planning Manager

WB Power Services are currently recruiting for a Service Planning Manager reporting to the Service Director, working in our head office, in Heanor, Derbyshire. This is a superb opportunity for a Service Planning Manager to join the business through this rapid period of growth. The business is looking for a driven and motivated Service Planning Manager to support the business through these exciting times.

The Role

  • Proactive line management and coordination of the service team.
  • Completing appraisals, probation reviews, 1-2-1’s and feedback sessions.
  • Work closely with Service Manager and Customer Service Delivery Manager.
  • Obtain statistics to identify efficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collect information on travel time, skill set of engineers and how many return visits.
  • Proactively feed into the contingency and succession plan for the service.
  • Identifying key regions for placement of engineers for strategic recruitment.
  • You’ll work closely with the rest of WB Power Services Ltd service team.
  • Actively manage the margin of our jobs to ensure maximum efficiency delivery.
  • Produce KPIs for the Service Operations Director to present in Board meetings.
  • Conducting root cause analysis.
  • Obtain, analyse and deliver feedback on ex-service repair jobs.
  • Working to WB Power Services Ltd procedures and using our own bespoke systems.

The Person

  • Strong financial and numerical skills
  • 3 years’ experience working in Service delivery.
  • Experience in hands-on, line management.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster strong relationships.
  • Talented in negotiating and networking.
  • Solid knowledge and experience of suppliers or third-party management software.
