Generator Installation Engineer
WB Power Services is currently recruiting Generator Installation Engineers. This is a superb opportunity for a Generator Installation Engineer to join the business through this rapid period of growth. As a Generator Installation Engineer at WB Power Services, you will play a key role in driving engineering excellence, ensuring the successful execution of projects, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our services. The Role

  • Supporting and delivering the full service of generator installations for new clients.
  • Install various products and equipment according to specifications and guidelines.
  • Working away from home Monday to Friday (depending on the project’s location).
  • Collaborate with the Projects team to create designs meeting high specifications.
  • Capture and specify requirements and produce technical plans.
  • Attend scheduled meetings with the Project manager for updates.
  • Liaise and communicate with customers, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Keep abreast of current and developing engineering trends.
  • Adhering to the company’s H&S, environmental, and quality management systems.
  • Accurate recording keeping using the company’s bespoke management system.
  • Working closely internally, to ensure jobs are within budget and on time.

The Person

  • Time served as Mechanical/Electrical engineer or qualified to NVQ level 3.
  • Experience in generators is highly advantageous but not essential.
  • Be able to understand and complete risk assessments.
  • Able to work away from home Monday and Friday.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with communicating via telephone and face-to-face.
  • The capability to deal with a variety of customers from different industries.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £17.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
