WB Power Services is currently recruiting Diesel Field Service Engineer- Depot Engineer. The Role

•  Work both in a workshop and site environment
• Mechanical and electrical fault finding
• Repair and service of generators
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve reports of technical problems with equipment
• Service equipment both on and off site
• Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems
• Complete paperwork and timesheets in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with relevant procedures when repairing and inspecting equipment
• Ensure work/personal equipment complies with all safety standards
• Present a professional image at all times
• Take responsibility for health and safety of self, colleagues and customers in line with the Company Health and Safety Policy

The Person

• Minimum 3 years generator experience and utilities contracts
• Knowledge of engines, alternators, control panels and wiring diagrams
• Solid mechanical aptitude
• Diagnostic and leadership skills able to work in a team or alone
• Full Driving Licence with ability to tow would be an advantage
• Ability to service the range of plant-based machinery
• Have a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to undertake ad-hoc duties when required.
• Level 2 engineer, requirement to be on call.
