Labourer (Engineering)

WB Power Services are currently recruiting a Engineers Mate. This is a superb opportunity for a Engineers Mate to join the business through this rapid period of growth. The business is looking for a driven and motivated assistant to support the team through these exciting times.

The Role

• Provide labour to our Diesel engineers.
• Working in a mobile role with a company van.
• Cable pulling.
• Collect parts from the depot and take them to the site.
• General site labouring as required.
• Liaise with Service Coordinators at head office for planning purposes.
• Help load and unload company vehicles when necessary.
• Assist with testing as directed.
• Adherence to the company H&S, environmental and quality management systems.
• Accurate recording keeping using the company’s bespoke management system.

The Person

• Experience labouring in any engineering discipline in desirable.
• Full UK driver’s licence.
• Comfortable in dealing with clients over the phone and face-to-face as required.
• Interest in developing any engineering skills.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• The capability to deal with a variety of customers from different industries.
