Engine Overhaul Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive to join our team and drive growth in industrial diesel engine overhaul and repair services. The ideal candidate will be proactive, results-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to identify and cultivate new business opportunities.

The Role:

  • Conduct proactive research to identify new opportunities in the industrial diesel engine overhaul and repair sector. 
  • Utilize various communication channels including phone, email, and face-to-face meetings to engage with prospective clients. 
  • Promote WB Power Services and our offerings to all relevant parties.
  • Oversee and assist in the preparation and submission of quotations and tenders. 
  • Take responsibility for managing and tracking all submitted quotations, ensuring timely follow-up and closure.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospects, quotes, visits, and other sales activities in Salesforce. 
  • Research and target potential high-yield customers.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and promote other WB products and services.
  • Send introductory letters to prospective clients.
  • Manage frameworks for national contracts.
  • Adhere to WB Power Services Ltd procedures and utilize our proprietary systems.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong preference for candidates with experience in Industrial engine sales.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales or business development manager role.
  • Possession of a full, clean UK driver's license.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software.
  • Expertise in communication via telephone, face-to-face meetings, and email.
  • Confidence in conducting sales meetings.
  • Competence in using Microsoft applications.
  • Resilient and tenacious work ethic.
