WB Power Services is currently seeking experienced Construction Managers to oversee construction projects nationwide. This is an exceptional opportunity for Construction Managers to play a pivotal role in the company’s expansion phase. We specialize in delivering construction projects for the permanent installation of generators, serving clients such as the NHS, water authorities, and critical data centers.

The Role

  • Assume responsibility for the efficient management of construction projects on-site.
  • Vigilantly oversee quality control and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Take a hands-on approach to pre-site, on-site, and post-site activities.
  • Develop and oversee Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) for WBPS projects, as well as review, manage, and approve subcontractors’ RAMS.
  • Collaborate with the Projects team to forecast planned works and timelines.
  • Attend meetings at Head Office as necessary.
  • Foster positive internal and external communication channels.
  • Ensure compliance with WB Power Services Ltd ISO policies and procedures.
  • Manage communication between all project stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
  • Address and resolve any on-site delays or issues, escalating as needed.

The Person

  • Previous experience as a Construction Manager or Installation Manager.
  • Possession of SMSTS certification.
  • Willingness to travel as projects are nationwide.
  • Prior experience with generators or M&E projects preferred.
  • Proficiency in communication via telephone, face-to-face, and email.
  • Familiarity with industry ISO standards.
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety protocols.
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers from diverse industries.
  • Proficient with IT systems, with a willingness to learn our ERP.

Pay: £65,000.00-£72,000.00 per year
